Avatar fans may or not be aware, but Dark Horse is publishing a 3-part graphic novel trilogy in 2012 set in the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender. It literally picks up right were the series left off (and, in fact, there is some crossover between the comic and the last scenes of the show that puts them in context) and will focus on Aang and Zuko's efforts to rebuild the world. Essentially, it'll bridge the gap between the orignal series and Korra. Quite a large chunk of the first volume (available January 25th) was leaked online and can be read here. All I have to say is holy shit, it's amazing! No, really. It's just what I wanted. Considering the first volume is 80 pages, we're potentially looking at a 240 page epic here! And I'd like to know, is it just me or does anyone else read the dialog in the characters' voices? You can check out a behind the scenes video about the making of the book after the break.

Top 10 Weakest Superheroes
posted by
Anonymous
Hi everyone it's been a while since I've posted anything. College has kept me quite busy lately so I've been tight on time. For this post I will be looking over the top 10 weakest superheroes of all time. I originally made a list like this but I've decided to redo it this time with lamer and weaker heroes. You'll see a few familiar faces from the first list, but a good number of new weaklings as well.
#10 Howard the Duck
Howard the duck comes from another dimension where ducks evolved to become the prominent species on the planet. One day when fighting an arch enemy of his, Howard was teleported to our world in Cleavland Ohio. Ever since then, Howard the Duck has tried to return back to his home world, but all his attempts have ended in failure.
So lets see why is this hero weak?
Well to start off he's a duck....from another world. He is versed in the art of Quack Fu however, which gives him an edge over normal humans and ducks alike. He could probably hold his own against your average Joe. However put him up against any normal hero with no powers such as Batman or Dare Devil, and he is definitely screwed.
#9 Infectious Lass
Infectious lass...wow. If this was a list of heroes with the worst names of all time she would be at the top.
I can't find too much info on this heroes background. What I do know is that she tried out for the Legion of Superheroes and failed, so you know that she's bad already. Then she ended up joining the Legion of Substitute Heroes, which makes her even worse.
So why is this Superhero weak?
Well she has the power to "infect" people. But apparently she can't aim if her life depended on it and her powers fail constantly. She never really defines what infect means. So for all we know she just gives you a bad case of crabs. Annoying, yes, but life threatening? No, not really, nothing modern medicine can't fix anyway. The fact she couldn't join the Legion of Superheroes means there's definitely something wrong with her.
vs Howard the Duck: Well the fact that she misses quite often, and that her powers merely annoy people, Howard could probably take her. At worse he might get slightly annoyed, and itchy.
#8 Long Dong
Long Dong was one of fourteen freshman that was endowed with a Super power during an explosion at their college campus. That's about it...
Can't say I'm exactly jealous of this guy, a fifteen foot penis is just a bit too big for me. It is indestructible though, so that's a plus I suppose.
So why is this Super Hero weak?
It can't be easy to handle a 15 foot indestructible penis. I mean if you could hit someone with it I'm sure it would do some damage, but it seems cumbersome to wield. Once Long Dongs enemies get around his mighty sword he's pretty much a sitting duck. And while his penis is indestructible the rest of him sure as hell isn't!
vs Howard the Duck: Long John has to get his weapon out of his pants first, then he has to try and hit Howard with it. That would take too long and Howard is a master of Quack Fu with slightly above average reflexes.
vs Infectious Lass: Infectious Lass may not be able to destroy Long Dongs penis, but it's a pretty big target for all the different types of infectious diseases she can throw at him! Especially STDs!
#7 Matter-Eater Lad
A strapping young Lad from the planet Bismoll. He is part of the Legion of Super Heroes and has the ability to eat through any type of matter!
So why is this hero weak?
Well unless your a cannibal, this power basically has no offensive use! In fact writers had trouble incorporating him into the Legion of Super Hereo stories because well...lets face it he was useless. It might serve for some odd situations, but in the end if Matter-Eater Lad is not willing to eat his enemy, how can he possibly hope to defeat anyone?
vs Howard the Duck: Quack fu would make short work of this matter eating fool.
vs Infectious Lass: I'm sure she could give him a nasty case of gum disease, rendering his power pretty much useless. Or mouth herpes! That could work as well.
vs Long Dong: So if Long Dong stuck his long dong into Matter-Eater Lad's mouth would Matter-Eater Lad be able to chew through it? Apparently he can eat through any type of matter. Then again has he ever tried to eat through something that was indestructible? I say it creates a paradox and kills them both. But Long Dong still wins since his power has more offensive use.
#6 Arm Fall-off boy
Arm Fall-off boy is a time traveler from the 30th century. He tried out for the Legion of Superheroes but was rejected.
Why is this hero weak?
Being from the 30th century you would think he would have some totally kick ass technology like Booster Gold does. Nope, all he brought from the 30th century was his prosthetic arms that he can remove at will to beat people with. He looks pretty muscular to say the least, I think he would be a much better hero if he just punched people instead of removing his arms and attempted to use it as a club.
vs Howard the Duck: Well being a martial arts master I'm pretty sure Howard knows some disarming moves (no pun intended). Once Arm-Fall off boy's arms are gone what can he possibly do?
vs Infectious Lass: Infectious Lass could just blast this lame hero with diseases until his arms disintegrated.
vs Long Dong: Long Dong has more reach than Arm-Fall off boy. Also his penis is indestructible, while Arm-Fall off Boy's arms are not.
vs Matter-Eater Lad: Those arms aren't even real looking I'm sure Matter Eater Lad would have no problem eating them. Arm-fall off boy doesn't stand a chance after his arms are gone, so the fight pretty much effectively ends.
#5 Chlorophyll Kid
Chlorophyll Kid fell into a vat of Chlorophyll as an infant. After this unfortunate accident he gained the power to make plants grow really fast. Wow...
So why is the hero weak?
Well he can make plants grow...that's about it. Chlorophyll Kids powers are limited to planets that have life on them, and they can be blocked by an object, any object actually. Oh and he was rejected from the Legion of Superheroes. He has no type of combat training either...
vs Howard the Duck: A few karate chops the kid would be down for the count.
vs Infectious Lass: Her disease powers work on plants as well, she could probably make Chlorophyll kid and his plants sick enough to be unable to fight. Not that the plants could fight in the first place.
vs Long Dong: Long Dong's penis can mow down any tree Chlorophyll Kid springs up, and thus mow down Chlorophyll Kid as well.
vs Matter-Eater Lad: Matter Eater Lad eats the kids trees. The he punches Chlorophyll Kid in the face and wins.
vs Arm-fall off boy: Technically, Arm-fall off boy's arms are prosthetic, which means he can block Chlorophyll Kid's powers. Once he does that he just beat the stuffing out of Chlorophyll Kid with one of his mighty club arms.
4# Brother Power the Geek
Brother Power the Geek is a hippie mannequin who was brought to life after being struck by lighting.
He has "super speed" and "super power" (WTF does that even mean?).
Why is this hero weak?
Well first off, they don't explain what "super power" is. None the less he does have "super speed", but his "super speed" is hardly something to brag about. In the end he is just a quick footed mannequin.
vs Howard the Duck: One blow would send the mannequin flying into a million different pieces. Might take a few minutes to catch Brother Power, but Howard would get him eventually.
vs Infectious Lass: Actually infectious lass can't affect Brother Power because he is non-living. None the less she would be able to take him in hand to hand combat.
vs Long Dong: A mighty dick slap would send Brother Power flying.
vs Matter-Eater Lad: Brother Power is non-living matter, Matter-Eater Lad would simply eat him.
vs Chlorophyll Kid: Brother Power is a damn tree huger, do you really think he would hurt any of Chlorophyll Kid's creations? The Kid wins this one.
#3 Color Kid
Color Kid obtained his unique and useless power while he was helping out a scientist in a lab. He was struck by a beam of colors that the allowed him to transform the color of any object. He was rejected from the Legion of Superheroes
Why is this hero weak?
Well all he can do is change the color composition of an object! The only useful ability of his I've actually seen is that he can temporarily blind his opponents. He has no combat training.
vs Howard the Duck: In hand to hand combat, Howard would ultimately win, even after being blinded.
vs Infectious Lass: A few disease bolts would take care of Color Kid
vs Long Dong: Well color Kid can change the color of the long dong, shortly before being pummeled by it.
vs Matter-Eater Lad: Matter-Eater Lad won't eat Color Kid, but he can still take him in hand to hand combat.
vs Arm-fall off boy: Arm-fall off boy beats color kid unconscious, but not before his costume color changes several times!
vs Chlorophyll Kid: Chlorophyll Kid summons an acorn tree, and uses acorns as a projectiles against Color Kid. Few acorns are lost in the fight, but Chlorophyll Kid ultimately wins.
vs Brother Power: Brother Power is fast enough to evade the color beam...not that it would do much anyway. Then he can use his "super power" to defeat color kid.
#2 Cypher
Wait a hero we might actually recognize? Who is sometimes seen in modern comic books? Impossible how is he on this list? After all Cypher is in the X-men.
So why is this hero weak?
Like all mutants Cypher obtained his ability at birth through mutation. Unlike all the other mutants he was graced with a completely useless power. He has the ability to translate any type of language whether it be computer code, french, or alien. That's it. He has no combat training.
vs Howard the Duck: Howard takes it, at least he can hold his own in a fist fight.
vs Infectious Lass: The lass takes it, whether she uses her powers or not.
vs Long Dong: Long Doing's penis is impervious to the translating powers of Cypher!
vs Matter Eater Lad: Same deal, hand to hand fight Matter-Eater Lad takes it. He might take pity on Cypher and eat him.
vs Arm-fall off boy: Actually Arm-fall off boy could probably take him even without his incredible arm detaching abilities.
vs Chlorophyll Kid: Tough call, but I have to give it to the Chlorophyll Kid. He can probably create poison ivy to irritate Cypher and swing the battle his way.
vs Color Kid: Color Kid's unique ability to blind opponents for a short time swings the battle in his favor.
Now introducing the weakest, and possibly most pathetic Superhero of all time...
#1 DOORMAN
Little is known about Doorman's past or how he obtained his powers. His sole and single power is the ability to teleport ANYWHERE....as long as it is in a room next door. That's right, this amazing hero has the singular ability to be able to transport you one room over.
Why is this hero the weakest hero off all time?
Look if I was a hero, or even an average person and wanted to get to an inaccessible room, I would blast it open. Or I would find a more capable teleporter like night crawler to help me. Outside of this singular amazing ability door man has no other powers. He has been recently upgraded however so that he can fairy dead souls to Oblivion. This ability hardly helps him in a fight however
vs Howard the Duck: Doorman would teleport, and Howard would probably give up chasing him.
vs Infectious Lass: Doorman would teleport in fear of a potential std. He might be able to escape if they are fighting in an enclosed room with no doors.
vs Long Dong: I'm not sure if even doorman could out teleport the reach of Long Dong's fifteen foot penis.
vs Matter Eater Lad: Well Doorman would try to fight, and realize he can't win. Matter-Eater Lad can probably catch him by simply eating through the walls Doorman teleports through.
vs Arm-fall off boy: Doorman stands no chance against the mighty meaty arms of Arm-fall off boy. He can probably escape from him however.
vs Chlorophyll Kid: I'm not sure if doorman can teleport through trees. None the less, Chlorophyll kid could probably restrain him with roots or vines.
vs Brother Power the Geek: Brother Power is simply too fast for doorman and would take him out within a matter of minutes.
vs Color Kid: Color Kid would blind doorman and make him unable to teleport to the next room.
vs Cypher: This is probably the one battle Cypher can win in hand to hand combat.
#10 Howard the Duck
Howard the duck comes from another dimension where ducks evolved to become the prominent species on the planet. One day when fighting an arch enemy of his, Howard was teleported to our world in Cleavland Ohio. Grudge Match: Captain America vs Captain Falcon
posted by
Anonymous
Well seeing as I haven't written anything in a while, I thought I would do a grudge match this week. Basically, in a grudge match, I take two random but similar things and pair them against each other. This month's match involves Captain Falcon vs Captain America.
(Note to clear up any confusion where talking about Steve Rogers Captain America, not Bucky)
Captain Falcon
Captain America
Brief history on both heroes.
Captain America: Directly from Wikipedia
"Steve Rogers was born on July 4, 1917 in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, New York City, to Irish immigrants Sarah and Joseph Rogers.[21] By the early 1940s, before America's entry into World War II, Rogers is a tall but scrawny fine arts student specializing in illustration. Disturbed by the rise of the Third Reich, Rogers attempts to enlist, only to be rejected due to his poor constitution. A U.S. Army officer looking for test subjects offers Rogers the chance to serve his country by taking part in a top-secret defense project — Operation: Rebirth, which seeks to develop a means of creating physically superior soldiers. Rogers volunteers for the research and, after a rigorous selection process, is chosen as the first human test subject for the Super-Soldier serum developed by the scientist "Dr. Josef Reinstein," later retroactively changed to a code name for the scientist Abraham Erskine.
The night Operation: Rebirth is implemented, Rogers receives injections and oral doses of the Super-Soldier formula. He is then exposed to a controlled burst of "Vita-Rays" that activate and stabilize the chemicals in his system. Although the process is arduous physically, it successfully alters his physiology almost instantly from its relatively frail form to the maximum of human efficiency, greatly enhancing his musculature and reflexes. Erskine declares Rogers to be the first of a new breed of man, a "nearly perfect human being"
TLDR version: Captain America was a geeky little artist named Steve Rogers who was labled too sick and weakly to join the army. He joined an experimental operation conducted by the U.S. government to create the pefect human soldier. It worked and Steve Rogers was tranformed from a weakling, to the pinnacle of human perfection.
Captain Falcon:Directly from Wikipedia with some minor tweakage
Captain Falcon, is shrouded in mystery. When not racing, he works at a bar that he owns under the name Bart Lemming. His real name is Andy Summer. He fights constantly against Black Shadow and the Dark Million Organization, and often lends a hand to the Task Force. According to the legend, Captain Falcon and Black Shadow are incarnations of light and dark, and in the manner of Yin and Yang, they can't defeat each other on their own.
TLDR version: If you seriously didn't read this because it was too long you fail, read it.
Now in order to be able to determine which hero would win in a death match, we will take a look at three distinct categories: Equipment, Enemies, and Powers.
Equipment
Captain America:
Shield: To start off with the obvious, Captain America's shield. It is made of a nearly indestructible ficional metal called adamantium. The shield is completely bullet proof, but also very light and can be thrown as a projectile.
Uniform: Captain America's Uniform is fireproof and bullet proof, but it is also light enough to allow the user to move around freely without any restriction.
Motorcycle: Captain America has a motorcycle from S.H.I.E.L.D. modified with some basic weapondry.
Captain Falcon:
Uniform: Captain Falcon's uniform isn't bullet proof or fire proof like Captain America's uniform. However it does provide somewhat minmal protection and the metal pieces on his boots and gloves augment the damage done by his attacks.
Gun: Captain Falcon has a plasma blaster, oddly though he rarely uses it.
Blue Falcon(race car): The Blue Falcon goes extremely fast exceeding speeds of 1000 km/h and is armed with a variety of plasma based weapons.
Enemies:
Captain America:
Now I could write probaly a whole page full of blogger post simply listing which enemies Captain America fought. I'm obviously not going to to that however, instead I'm just going to focus on the most powerful enemy Captain America was able to defeat by himself.
The Hulk was by far the strongest enemy that Captain America has ever defeated by himself. Many people would just call this a bad call on the writers half, saying it is impossible for a mere human to defeat a Super poweful monster like the Hulk. However I disagree; while the Hulk is an increadibly powerful super hero with formidable regeneration abilites and super strength that exceedes that of any other marvel super hero or villan, he lacks one thing. He doesn't have the clear competent intellect many other heroes posses that are around his strength class. For this reason The Hulk always has a chance to lose to weaker but more clever heroes like Spiderman, Captain America, and Wolverine.
But its still fair to say that The Hulk is more than a formidable challenge for Captain America. Thus, Captain America not only has years of combat experience under his belt, but he also has the experince of fighting enemies that are much more powerful than he is.
Captain Falcon:
As a bounty hunter, Captain Falcon has to deal with a lot of intergalatic scum. However, the toughest enemy Captain Falcon has ever had to face is Black Shadow. Since Black Shadow is supposed to be Captain Falcon's evil counterpart, the ying to his yang, it is assumed that both are on the same strength level. So while Captain Falcon has never had to fight anyone on the same level as the Hulk, he none the less has plenty of combat experince being a bounty hunter, and has fought a super villian with superhuman capabilities.
Powers, abilities, and skills:
Captain America
Straight from Wikipedia:
"Captain America has no superhuman powers, although as a result of the Super-Soldier serum and vita-ray treatment, he is transformed from a frail young man into a "perfect" specimen of human development and conditioning. Captain America's strength, endurance, agility, speed, reflexes, and durability are at the highest limits of natural human potential. It has been established that Rogers' body regularly creates the super-soldier serum; it does not wear off.[60]
The formula enhances all of his metabolic functions and prevents the build-up of fatigue poisons in his muscles, giving him endurance far in excess of an ordinary human being. This accounts for many of his extraordinary feats, including bench pressing 1100 pounds (500kg) and running a mile (1.6 km) in little more than a minute.[61] Furthermore, his enhancements are the reason why he was able to survive being frozen in suspended animation for decades. Rogers is also unable to become intoxicated by alcohol and is immune to many diseases, as he also heals faster than normal.
Mentally, Rogers' battle experience and training make him an expert tactician and an excellent field commander, with his teammates frequently deferring to his orders in battle. Rogers' reflexes and senses are also extraordinarily keen. He is a master of multiple martial arts. Years of practice with his indestructible shield make him able to aim and throw it with almost unerring accuracy. His skill with his shield is such that he can attack multiple targets in succession with a single throw or even cause a boomerang-like return from a throw to attack an enemy from behind. In the comics, he is regarded by other skilled fighters as one of the best hand-to-hand combatants in the Marvel Universe."
TLDR version: Captain America has no "super powers", but he is the pinnacle of human ability, the most powerful a human can be without actually being super human. Some of his most amazing feats include bench pressing 1,000 pounds and running a mile in under a minute. The Super Soldier serum gives him increadible stamina and makes him heal much faster than the average human, although his regeneration abilities are no where near of that of super hereos like Deadpool and Wolverine. Captain America is a master tactictian, and is also considered the best hand to hand combatant in the marvel universe.
Captain Falcon:
Captain Falcon like Captain America is also in extremely good physical condition. However, Captain Falcon in my opinion is on the superhuman scale of power. In terms of strenth, both Captain America and Captain Falcon are on the same level. However, Captain Falcon's attacks are augmented with fire, and he is one of the fastest dashers in Super Smash Brothers Brawl, only behind sonic in terms of dashing speed. And like I stated before, Captain Falcon is a bounty hunter so he has years of experince with hand to hand combat as well.
FINAL MATCH
Well in terms of equipment, Captain America's shield and suit both provide added protection against Captain Falcon's firey attacks. Captain Falcon's Blue falcon beats Captain America's S.H.I.E.L.D motorcycle, but I doubt the fight will revolve around vechiles anyway.
Like I stated before, Captain America has experince fighting foes much stronger than Captain Falcon, so this isn't anything new for him. Captain Falcon has fought Black Shadow before and won, who is just as powerful, if not more so than Captain America.
Both combatants in terms of strength are equal. Even though Captain Falcon has poweful fire attacks, Captain America's shield and suit provide ample protection against these attacks. In terms of speed, Captain Falcon does outclass Captain America, but it not a huge advantage that the patriotic hero can't find his way around. Finally, when it comes to hand to hand combat Captain America wins, he is considered not only the best hand to hand combatant in the Marvel Universe, but in other comic book universes as well rivialing the abilities of even that of Batman.
Winner:
Captain America
Top 10 Most Powerful Superheroes
posted by
Anonymous
Since the Dawn of mankind, geeks and nerds alike have battled over one question: Who is the most powerful Superhero?
Well today my friends I will give you my own assessment on who I think are the top ten most powerful heroes.
About the list:
-Does not included celestial/cosmic powers such as the Jean Grey in her Phoniex form.
-Super hero vs Super hero battles will be taken into account.
-Will included heroes from Marvel, D.C., and Image Comics.
Well lets get started!
# 10 The Green Lantern
D.C. Hero
The Green Lantern is part of a small coalition of universal cops composed of many different races. These specially chosen individuals are given rings of power to uphold justice and maintain universal stability. Each Green Lantern is assigned a sector in the universe to patrol.
All of the Green Lantern's abilities stem from the power of his or her ring. The ring itself is powered by the users willpower and it is a very versatile weapon. The Green Lantern can use his ring to summon a shield, make a giant weapon, or even use it as a tractor beam. Really there is very little he Green Lantern cannot do with the ring, which makes him a strong choice for the #10 spot on the list.
#9 The Hulk
Marvel Hero
One day Dr. Robert Bruce Banner was experimenting with gamma rays. Accidentally, Dr. Bruce Banner blasted himself with these rays transforming him into the Hulk, a giant green behemoth with unsurpassed physical power.
The Hulk boast a variety of powers. The most obvious one is super strength, but the Hulk also has phenomenal regeneration abilities and is nearly indestructible. On top of all these powers the Hulk also becomes more powerful as he fights, meaning in a long fight the Hulk has the potential to be the strongest Super Hero.
Quick note: I see a lot of comments pertaining to how the Hulk is the strongest hero ever and that Superman nor Sentry compare to him. This is false, both Superman and Sentry have a much higher base strength than the Hulk and it would take the Hulk a long time to reach their level, much less surpass it.
The Hulk vs The Green Lantern: The Green Lantern is tough and his ring may last on a almost never ending supply of willpower, but the Hulk would be the victor in the end. The Hulks sheer power and brute force would quickly overpower the Green Lantern.
#8 Spawn
Image Comics Hero
Spawn was once a man who worked for the CIA. However Spawn's boss had him killed for knowing a bit too much. Upon his death Spawn was sent to hell. In the fiery dimension full of brimstone, Spawn made a deal with devil that allowed him to go back to Earth as part demon. Spawn accepted the offer and now seeks revenge on those who betrayed him.
To start off, Spawn is extremely fast, strong, and durable. He can only be killed by being decapitated by a heavenly weapon and controls an array of magical powers. However his magical powers are finite so he cannot use them too often.
Spawn vs The Green Lantern: The Green Lantern is powerful, but Spawn is fast, clever, and strong with a host of magical powers. Spawn could overpower the Green Lantern easily.
Spawn vs The Hulk: It would be a long difficult battle. Both combatants have super strength and regeneration, although the Hulk has faster regeneration and is stronger. However Spawn still holds an advantage here being more tactical and clever than the Hulk.
#7 Thor
Marvel Hero
Thor is the son of Odin who is basically a god and king of all the other gods in Asgard. That already should be enough of a reason of why he is so powerful.
Thor wields a mighty battle hammer called Mjnor into battle. This magical hammer is the source of Thor's power and enables him to control some aspects of the weather and fly. Thor also posses super strength comparable to Superman.
Thor vs The Green Lantern: Thor would easily beat the Green Lantern. I can't really think of anything the Green Lantern could do that could actually cause any serious damage to Thor.
Thor vs The Hulk: The Hulk is not nearly as strong as Thor when he starts out, nor is he has fast. Thor has the advantage here in both strength and speed.
Thor vs Spawn: Thor has some experience in fighting demons which already puts him at an advantage. Thor is not only stronger than Spawn, but his magical powers are infinite while Spawns are finite and any magic used against Thor would be absorbed by his hammer.
#6 Black Bolt
Marvel Hero
Black Bolt was an inhuman part of a genetics experiment. At birth, his parents soon discovered he had strong manipulation of energy which was especially potent through the use of his voice. Sometime later in his life Black Bolt shot down an enemy ship through use of his powers. However, the ship it ended up crashing into his parents ship and killing them instantly. Ever since then Black Bolt has been extremely careful when he uses his voice, in fact he never talks unless in combat, since even a small whisper from him can level an entire city. Recently Black Bolt has helped The Avengers and the Fantastic Four in various missions, even though during their first encounter Black Bolt completely destroyed the Fantastic Four.
Black Bolt's powers include energy manipulation, most notably through his super sonic scream. Through energy manipulation he also has super strength, speed, and durability. It is said his Super Sonic scream at full power could make a planet explode.
Black Bolt vs The Green Lantern: There really isn't much competition here. Black Bolt would win easily, all he would have to do is scream and break down any of the green Lantern's shields. There's really nothing GL can do to stop Black Bolts attacks, nor is there much the GL can do either to really hurt Black Bolt.
Black Bolt vs the Hulk: The only time The Hulk was ever a threat to Black Bolt was during the World War Hulk series. Normal enraged Hulk stands no chance against Black Bolt.
Black Bolt vs Spawn: Black Bolt would quickly over power Spawn. Spawn has very few abilities to resist Black Bolts powers. He might get a few hits in, but would ultimately lose.
Black Bolt vs Thor: Thor is incredibly strong and fast, but Black Bolt is no pushover either. With a voice that can make an entire planet explode. Thor doesn't really stand a chance.
#5 Superman
D.C. Hero
Superman was born on a planet known as Krypton. He is the sole survivor of his home world and draws his immense strength and powers from the yellow sun. Superman has a crippling weakness to kryptonite which has been exploited many times against him.
Superman has a large arsenal of powers. Out of every single comic book hero that was ever created, Superman is undoubtedly the strongest. No one truly knows just how powerful he can become since he seems to hold back most of the time. The man of steel is also the third fastest superhero right behind Flash and the Silver Surfer. Superman posses the abilities to freeze foes with his breath or melt them with heat vision. He is invulnerable to most types of attacks, which makes him one of the most resilient hero ever created as well.
Superman vs The Green Lantern: Superman is way to fast for the green Lantern. Also like Thor and The Hulk, if Superman gets trapped by the rings power he can easily break it's hold. The ring can create extremely large powerful weapons, but Superman is extremely resilient and wouldn't take much damage from the rings power anyway.
Superman vs The Hulk: Superman has already beaten the Hulk, twice. While The Hulk has the potential to become stronger than Superman,Superman's starting base power is much higher than the Hulks. He is also faster and and versatile which gives him an edge against the green behemoth.
Superman vs Spawn: Spawn is powerful, and he does have magic which is one of Superman's weaknesses. The problem with Spawn is however his magic is limited, and Spawns usual weapons won't work on Superman too effectively.
Superman vs Thor: This is an epic battle I would love to see happen. Thor has a magical hammer that is effective against Superman, but in the end Superman is simply too strong and too fast for Thor to keep up with.
Superman vs Black Bolt: While Black Bolt at full power may be able to destroy an entire planet, Superman has survived the core of a Star exploding. It's safe to say that Black Bolt will give Superman a good fight, but in the end Superman would prevail.
#4 Dr. Strange
Marvel Hero
Dr. Strange became the apprentice of a powerful entity known as the ancient one after suffering an accident that effectively ended his medical career. After many years of training, the Ancient One asked Dr. Strange to take his place, thus handing the title of Sorcerer Supreme to Dr. Strange.
Dr. Strange is The Supreme Sorcerer of the Universe, and his power pretty much limitless. He can create bolts of magic so powerful they can level a city, or restrain heroes like the Hulk with magic bonds. Dr. Strange can also use magic to make himself much more resilient than the average human, and is by no means frail.
Dr. Strange vs The Green Lantern: Dr. Strange's magic is much more powerful than the Green Lanterns ring. The Green Lantern would be overpowered within a few minutes.
Dr. Strange vs The Hulk: Dr. Strange has defeated the Hulk several times. His magic is simply to powerful for the Hulk to overcome, not to mention that he is a much smarter fighter than the Hulk.
Dr. Strange vs Spawn: Most of the enemies Dr. Strange fights are demons. Dr. Strange would have no trouble quickly dispatching Spawn.
Dr. Strange vs. Thor: Thor is highly magic resistant. This would be a tough fight for Strange but he could still pull it off.
Dr. Strange vs Black Bolt: Dr. Strange is willing to go farther than Black Bolt to win a fight. While Black Bolt may hold back on using his full power Strange certainly won't.
Dr. Strange vs Superman: Superman has three weakness: Kryptonite, Red Sun radiation, and Magic. You could make the argument that Superman is vastly faster and stronger than Strange, but Strange is Sorcerer Supreme, and Superman has never done well against magical foes.
#3 Sentry
Marvel Hero
Robert Reynolds was a high school student who happened to drink the secret formula of one of his Professors. After defeating the school bully with his newly acquired powers, Robert Reynolds decided from there on he would become a Superhero. He renamed himself Sentry.
The Sentry's powers are similar to Superman's: invulnerability, flight, super strength. Sentry nearly equals Superman in all these areas except Strength, and on top of that Sentry has physic abilities that even rival that of Professor X and Phoenix. Many speculate he has more powers that are not known yet.
Sentry vs Green Lantern: Like Superman, Sentry is to fast and powerful for the Green Lantern even to touch.
Sentry vs The Hulk: The Sentry absolutely destroys the Hulk. The Hulk can't beat Superman, and he sure as hell can't beat Sentry.
Sentry vs Spawn: The Sentry is extremely resistant to any of Spawns attacks, including his limited magic.
Sentry vs Thor: Thor is fast and strong, but Sentry is faster and stronger. Thor's magical Hammer won't help him out much here either, since Sentry is extremely resilient towards it.
Sentry vs Black Bolt: Black Bolt really can't match Sentry in terms of speed and strength.
Sentry vs Superman: While Superman has physical advantages over Sentry, Sentry also has physic abilities. With these abilities Sentry could subdue Superman into defeat.
Sentry vs Dr. Strange: As i stated before, Sentry is very resistant to most attacks including magic. Dr. Strange is pure magic, he won't be able to harm Sentry that much, on the other hand however Sentry will be able to do a lot of damage to Dr. Strange.
#2 The Silver Surfer
Marvel Hero
Not much is known about the Silver Surfer. We know his name is Norrin Radd, and out of desperation to save his planet, he begged Galactacus to make him his herald in order to save his planet. Glactacus accepted the proposal and gave Norrin Radd a portion of his cosmic powers to be his herald.
Instead of asking the question what can the Silver Surfer do, it's better to ask what can this mother fucker do? To start off he can travel at speeds faster than light it self, making him the fastest hero to ever have been created. He is nearly indestructible, can phase through matter, fire particle beams, has super strength, can create illusions, expand his size, is resistant to any type of extreme temperatures or poison, can heal wounds (although he cannot raise the dead), and create life.
The Silver Surfer vs The Green Lantern: The Silver Surfer can fly circles around the Green Lantern and manipulate the ring to not work for him.
Silver Surfer vs The Hulk: Another easy match for the Surfer. He can fly around the Hulk all day and simply keep blasting him until the giant green behemoth collapses from exhaustion.
Silver Surfer vs Spawn: Spawn really can't do anything against invulnerable foes like the Surfer. Even magic doesn't phase him!
Silver Surfer vs Thor: Thor really doesn't stand a chance. The surfer is fast and stronger than Thor and can easily defeat the Asgardian God. Not to mention the Surfer can destroy Thor's hammer.
Silver Surfer vs Black Bolt: Black Bolt is potent at manipulating energy, but so is the Surfer. It would be an interesting fight to see, but in the end the Silver Surfer would probably win because of his sheer speed and strength.
Silver Surfer vs Superman: Superman is stronger and more resilient than the Surfer, but not nearly as fast. The Silver Surfer would probably be able to blast Superman with kryptonite or red sun radiation weakening the man of steel.
Silver Surfer vs Dr. Strange: Magic doesn't work well against the Surfer. Dr. Strange is pure magic and would lose quickly.
Silver Surfer vs Sentry: Sentry's only advantage is that he is stronger than the surfer. Physic attacks don't work well against the Surfer and Norrin Radd would probably blast Sentry into defeat.
Now are you ready for the number one hero, the most powerful of all heroes in comic book history?
Drum roll please!
#1 MOST POWERFUL HERO IN COMIC BOOK HISTORY
Frank Richards
Marvel Hero
Lol. I know he doesn't look like much but let me explain. Frank Richards got his incredible psionic powers from the cosmic rays his mother was exposed to, the same one that changed the fantastic four and gave them their powers. Richards had to place mind blocks on himself to restrain his power. Many people theorize that the blocks have faded over time making him even more powerful. At one point Richard lost his powers. The moment he gained them back however it actually temporarily disrupted the time space continuum. Now thats power.
*A NOTE FROM N-MAN* psionic: adj- pertaining to the telepathic, psychic, or paranormal (for those who were confused)
Frank Richard has incredible psionic abilities. His abilities are so powerful he can actually create pocket universes and rearrange matter on a cosmic level. When at full power, Frank Richards can fire enormous energy blast enough to destroy planets and has incredible telekinetic powers. He also has the ability to see into the future, although he cannot control this aspect of his power himself.
Richards is almost to powerful to be on the list, yet he just makes it. Even with the partial mind block, Richards is still powerful enough to defeat the other heroes on this list.
Frank Richards vs The Green Lantern: Frank Richard would blast the Green Lantern into non existence, and there is nothing the Green Lantern can do to stop him.
Frank Richards vs the Hulk: Frank Richards can easily destroy the Hulk with a few psionic blast. And if worse comes to worst Richards just send the Hulk into a pocket universe he creates.
Frank Richards vs Spawn: Spawn can't even touch Richards. He won't get then feet with in the Psionic titan without being incinerated to thrown hundreds of miles away by telekinesis.
Frank Richards vs Thor: Thor might be a God, but Richards can stop Thor right in his tracks and possibly destroy his hammer (yes Thor's hammer has been destroyed before, but it's not an easy task.)
Frank Richards vs Black Bolt: Richards has even stronger manipulation of energy than Black Bolt does. He could probably use Black Bolts attacks against him.
Frank Richards vs Superman: Frank Richards psionic ability would be powerful enough to even restrain Superman, one of the strongest heroes ever created. Richards would have no problems defeating Superman at all.
Frank Richards vs Dr. Strange: Richards can easily shield himself from Dr. Strange's attacks and then blast Strange into defeat with energy attacks
Frank Richards vs Sentry: This might be tough for Richards, however in the end Sentry would probably be defeated from exhaustion. He is nearly invulnerable, but blasts strong enough to destroy planets would even fatigue this powerful titan.
Frank Richards vs The Silver Surfer: This would be an interesting fight. The Silver Surfer is fast and strong, not to mention he can control energy and matter as well as Richards. Richards can't even throw The Silver Surfer into anther dimension since the Surfer has the ability to cross into other dimensions. In the end Richards would most like win, however it would not be an easy battle.
Well today my friends I will give you my own assessment on who I think are the top ten most powerful heroes.
